Welcome to Forward Sight Precision. We provide evaluation of customers, their firearms and equipment to ensure they are commensurate with their level of experience and training. Evaluations include the important basic fundamentals of shooting skills and are designed to meet the needs of corporations and individuals alike, either beginning or advanced. Our company operations are mobile and to "come to you" as we operate in the field. We have Mobile Evaluation Units that regularly hold these evaluations at various locations throughout the Inland Empire and Orange County. Corporate discounts are available with onsite evaluations.
Our staff then prepares the student for more advanced firearm training and recommends the appropriate training institution based on evaluation score.

Wikipedia's definition of Ergonomics is the scientific discipline concerned with designing according to the human needs, and the profession that applies theory, principles, data and methods to design in order to optimize human well-being and overall system performance.
From a training perspective, this is nothing new, just a new name on an existing idea. Take for example the notion of raising the sights in line with the eyes as opposed to lowering the head to line up with the sights. Another example would be to change your shooting stance to match your eye dominance. These are types of things our staff will reinforce to make the marksman more successful getting on target. This includes proper placement of equipment on ones person based on criteria critical to the mission and type of firearm. In this way, designing "the human-machine interface" operating as a homogeneous "package", increases overall system performance.
